The easy 5-minute make-up and massage routine

La routine massage-maquillage facile en 5 minutes

The easy 3-in-1 make-up routine in 5 minutes, by Marie-Claire Le Fevre, facialist and founder of Maison Le Fevre.

Marie-Claire, could you introduce yourself?

I'm Marie-Claire Le Fevre, facialist and qualified practitioner of traditional massage arts in Rennes, where I set up my own massage house.

I trained at the Académie des Facialistes run by Delphine Langlois and Catherine Bourgeois, and since then I've been constantly learning new techniques from the Académie and international specialists.

What does a facialist do?

The profession specializes in facial treatments, in particular facial massages. Facial massage is a veritable art form, sometimes requiring lengthy training in various gestural techniques and methods.

It delivers directly visible results on facial shape and firmness, the appearance of wrinkles, skin texture and complexion. And the benefits of facial massage aren't just aesthetic! It also promotes overall well-being even after a session.

What techniques do you use?

I offer tailor-made massages using wellness techniques derived from traditional Chinese medicine, such as Gua Sha, and Ayurvedic medicine.

Among others, I practice Kobido, a Japanese massage method, facial stretching and intra-oral massage.

I'm also a graduate of the Renata França lymphatic drainage method, an innovative manual lymphatic drainage from Brazil that uses wooden tools and energetic, rapid and firm movements all over the body. This method circulates lymph throughout the body, with immediate results: it eliminates water retention, detoxifies the body and promotes the loss of watery cellulite. The figure is immediately more contoured, refined and sculpted.

What kind of well-being effect are you aiming for?

Massages release muscular tension and improve fluid circulation. By stimulating certain points, the body detoxifies, resulting in a real sense of well-being. Face and body relax deeply.

Facial treatments also make the skin firmer, smoother and more radiant, helping you to feel better about yourself and gain in confidence.

Why did you choose Eclo products for your beauty routine?

I'm convinced that beauty has to be holistic, i.e. it has to be able to act on the outside as well as the inside. With Eclo, I was seduced by their holistic approach to color: a range of ultra-sensorial products that are good for you and good for the ground!

The products are finger-applied. I love the idea that the brand has put touch back at the heart of application. And all this without feeling guilty, as the 100% natural and organic formulas are biodegradable and the little jars compostable!
