To define our concept, we often use the expression "regenerative beauty". Not because our make-up regenerates your skin, although it does take care of it, but because it's connected to the nature that surrounds you and takes part in its regeneration. That's right!
Regenerative agriculture
In developing our formulas, we have given priority to active ingredients such as hemp, rye and seaweed with their soil-regenerating properties.
The aim of regenerative agriculture is to improve the health of the soil and seabed, while promoting biodiversity and ecosystem resilience. In particular, it increases the soil's capacity to capture carbon, rebalancing CO2 production.
In short, it is a natural and effective way of combating the excesses of this production. Another added value of our products in terms of eco-responsibility is their plastic-free packaging, made from vegetable amalgam and wood shavings, 100% industrially compostable. You won't find anything more eco-friendly!
Haute-Loire rye
It has unrivalled soil-restructuring powers, thanks to its extensive root network and ability to withstand the coldest temperatures. Rich in arabinoxylane, rye promotes a natural healthy glow and has therefore found a place of choice in the blush range.
Breton hemp
It requires little water and no pesticides, and is suited to a wide variety of soils. Its nutrient-rich residues improve soil quality and that of future crops. It depollutes soils by absorbing toxins and heavy metals, while reducing carbon emissions.
Smoothing and soothing, it is the key ingredient in the eyeshadow range.
Breton brown seaweed
Cultivated on the Brittany coast, it has the capacity to sequester large quantities of carbon.
It also helps cleanse the oceans of phosphates, nitrates and other pollutants from agriculture, and promotes marine biodiversity, creating marine habitats for other species.
Its skin-smoothing and plumping virtues make it an ingredient of choice for the lipstick range.
However, since the preservation of seaweed is of paramount importance, Eclo has naturally opted for a seaweed that comes from reasonable and reasoned sea gardening.
